The last few days we have had some stunning sights of 2 RAF Tucanos flying over the skies of Northern Ireland and Dungannon area.
According to RAF Aldergrove, today Wednesday is the last day of maneuvers so keep your eyes looking upwards !

I visited Tyrella MFC on Friday evening to catch up with the pilots that were entering IMAC NI. I spent an enjoyable evening with the Stephen and Richard Macmasters and Phelim. A few beers were had around the camp log fire and many a tall tale was told about flying.

I had a great days gliding on Tuesday thanks to Andrew Wallace , NI King of the Slope.
This is a wee sample of what we got up to. You cannot hear the laughing but I can assure you we had plenty of them.

Biggest B52 in the UK and Ireland Flys
Finally yesterday 23rd of February weather conditions were perfect for John to maiden his scratch build B52 PSS glider. Winds were gusting to 30mph on the East facing slope of Slieve Gallion and wind chill factor felt like -30 , man it was so cold up there !

By all accounts the First Jet Fly-in of 2010 was a massive success.

NI Area Aerobatic Competition 2010
The date has been set for the Area Aerobatics competition !!!!!
The 25th of April 2010 will again see pilots from North and South of Ireland visit Ballymoney Club for the first of a 2 leg NI aerobatic competition.
Matthew Poots and his team from Banbridge MFC will again be the event organizers.
