The large slope soaring B52 that I started some months ago is close to her to first flight. The model which is made from foam and covered in glass cloth, is getting the final coat of paint and hopefully will be ready for flight in the next two weeks. The engines are the only parts yet to be completed, just waiting for the vacuum formed parts, then another week or so and she should be ready, fingers crossed!!

Once all the slope flights have been completed, the next step will be to fit a single jet Turbine in the rear of the model, however this is a future project still on the drawing board!!

Eric Brown

It is with regret that I annouce the passing of a good friend, Eric Brown. Eric was the mainstay of Dungannon MFC for many many years and was always friendly and welcoming to everyone who visited Dungannon.

Eric lost his battle with Cancer yesterday (2nd Nov), I would like extend our deepest sympathies to Eric’s wife and 3 boys as well as the extended Brown family and his close friends from Dungannon MFC who I know supported him closely through his illness.

Eric will be sadly missed not only in Dungannon MFC but throughout the small community within our hobby locally!
