Due to the high winds over the Easter break, it was a great chance to fly on our slopes at Slieve Gallion.

Flying start 10am until the last glider lands.
January to March have been fantastic months for the slope soaring.
Richard seen here in the foto with his new Birdy DS, this little plane holds a massive punch when it come to speed flying on the slope.
On Saturday both John and myself headed up to Slieve Gallion for some gliding, what an amazing day it turned out to be.
Winds were roaring in at 20 plus MPH on to the North Westerly slope. The air was so so pure and we had some of the best flying that I can remember. John rocked his Vector 3 while I flew my wee EPP Fox. I still think the Fox is the best low value glider on the market. It just gives you such value for your money.
I test flew my new Birdy DS , hopefully next time I can get a video of the little rocket ship !
After the cold snowie Christmas period, if is great to get back to some climate weather again.
Flying at our club site has been mainly cancelled due to the bad weather.
